Writing Unit 6

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this report is to look at the effects of having more than 41 gadgets in your home and how green they are. My sources include facts and figures from newspapers reports.

POSITIVE FACTS

The gadgets are very important in our life because they make our life more easy and simple. Today more than the 70 per cent of them can be recycled so they are not very toxic for the envirament. Also recycling them saves the 33% of the energy needed to make new plastic.

NEGATIVE FACTS

But not everything is good about the gadgets because more than 17 million small devices are thrown away in only the UK every year!!! And more than 80% of all electronic waste is not recycled. Imagine how contaminating it can be!

CONCLUSION

To sum up, gadgets are very usefull for our life and they help a lot on our routine, but people should be more concienced about throwing away electronic devices can damage a lot the enviroment.

I would recomment to recycle everything because it will help us a lot and also, we can save money just trying to sell devices that we won't use
